On the first day of my hike, I started at the small town Llanca. This was
convenient, as a train was going there more or less straight from the
Airport in Barcelona. From Llanca I went up the mountains along the GR-11
hiking route to Santa Helena and monastery Sant Pere de Rodes. This was quiet
a climb, but right thereafter I went all the way down again and reached Port
de la Selva shortly past noon.
